BUTZE!

Brief description
BUTZE! is a self-initiated project with the aim of making a contribution to the sustainable tourist upgrading of rural regions by means of minimal interventions. In secluded places, nature lovers find individually designed shelters – so-called BUTZEN! – which serve as night camps, protection from the elements or as unique retreats.

Regional characteristics
BUTZE! is…
‘a unique offer’ – For all those who fill their backpack with the bare essentials and are looking for adventure on their doorstep.
‘Protection of natural areas’ – The sensitively placed structures show what a careful experience of natural areas can look like.
‘Guide’ – BUTZE! connects regions and intuitively leads the visitor on a path through different dialects, histories and building cultures.
‘Progress from tradition’ – rediscovering local materials and building traditions in a new guise shows how progress can come from tradition.
‘Increasing attractiveness’ – BUTZE! offers the experience of nature as an adventure and shows in a unique way how rural regions can deal with their invaluable potential in a fresh and innovative way.
