Gölles – A world of experience for fine brandy & vinegar

Brief description
On the experience tour through the Gölles manufactory, visitors can learn all about vinegar and fine brandy with all their senses in an interactive way. The focus is on the origins of the family business and the use of resources as well as the added value of the products. The detailed planning was carried out directly by Gölles. The design concept was implemented in cooperation with Aberjung, Büro Planaktiv and other specialists from the creative industry.

Regional characteristics
Numerous producers of fine delicacies have settled in the Styrian thermal and volcano region, a region in the south-east of Styria. Zotter Schokolade, Vulcano Schinken, Fink’s Delikatessen, David Gölles – House of Whiskey, Gin and Rum and Manufaktur Gölles for fine brandy and vinegar support each other in their activities and marketing. The aim is to let people take a look behind the scenes and bring food to life.

Duration
The collaboration for this project lasted around two years, 2014 – 2016, but is still ongoing in various follow-up projects.

Recommendation 1: Being open to new ideas, thinking outside the box, but not losing sight of the essentials.
Recommendation 2: Long-term partnerships are very important to us. The resulting trust and transparent working methods are essential for us.
Recommendation 3: Better together: Contractors, architects & co. should work hand in hand with people from the creative industries.
